Background: Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) is the most common pathological
manifestation of cerebral aneurysm and a leading cause of hemorrhage.

Objective: This interrupted time series design study is to compare the outcomes of implementing
comprehensive care guidelines and to examine nurse satisfaction with the use of these guidelines for
patients with ruptured cerebral aneurysms undergoing surgical clipping.

Methods: The study’s population comprised 90 individuals, consisting of 45 control group individuals
and 44 experimental group individuals, as well as 18 nurses working in the intensive care unit. The
research utilized descriptive statistics and segmented regression analysis for data analysis.

Results: The outcomes of the study revealed that the experimental groups demonstrated fewer
indications of complications, in comparison to the control group who received standard care, with
the difference being statistically significant (p-value <.05). The implementation of the aneurysm
assessment guideline proved beneficial for patients in recognizing and assessing early warning signs
of aneurysms and pursuing continuous follow-up measures. The implementation of the aneurysm
assessment guideline has provided valuable support to nurses in making decisions, assessing, and
reporting neurological changes every eight hours throughout the patient’s admission until discharge.
With a satisfaction rate of 95%, the nurses’ satisfaction with this guideline was high.

Conclusion: The aneurysm assessment guideline has enhanced the standard of care by promoting
                                                                                                                      Poster Presentation Abstracts
a holistic assessment and fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
