Background: With the intensification of population aging, the nursing of patients with wounds has
become an important part of clinical nursing work. Nurses as the first person responsible for wound
nursing, timely, accurate nursing records are the true portrayal of nursing activities. The rapid
development and popularization of mobile internet technology has improved the work efficiency of
nursing staff and improved the satisfaction of patients.

Objective: To explore the intention of clinical nurses to use wound care record APP and its influencing
           factors.

Methods: A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the clinical nurses’ intentions to
use wound care record APP in a tertiary hospital from April to May, 2024. SPSS 22.0 was applied for
data analysis. Descriptive statistics, independent sample T-test and one-way analysis of variance to
explore the relationship between nurses’ demographic information and the intention to use wound
           care record APP.

Results: A total of 175 questionnaires were collected. The average score of nurses’ intension to use APP
was 20.23±3.24,and the most important factor affecting clinical nurses’ intension to use APP was the
reasonable layout of APP(4.06±0.73).Nurse’s age, working years, professional title, employment and
specialized nurse qualification certificate had a significant effects on the intention to use APP(p<0.05).
Nurses with higher awareness of the APP had a higher intention to use the wound care APP, nurses with
   Oral Presentation Abstracts
higher demand for APP functions had significantly higher intention to use APP (p<0.05).

Conclusion: Clinical nurses’ intention to uses wound care APP was at a medium level. Reasonable
layout of APP, nurses age, working years, positions, specialized nurse qualification certificate, and
running speed influenced the intention to use APP. The development of the APP needs to consider the
reasonable layout and running speed, so as to facilitate the operation of nurses and improve work
           efficiency.
