Background: Process quality is the way services are delivered and has been shown to influence
patient clinical outcomes. Service training experience refers to the professional training received by
medical staff before engaging in relevant services. Home care service is being widely promoted, and
the process quality has received a lot of attention, but there are few studies on the related factors of
           process quality.

Objective: The propensity matching score method was used to analyze the influence of training
experience on the process quality of home care services provided by medical staff.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted to investigate 1152 medical staff with a self-designed
questionnaire, and propensity matching analysis was used to explore the influence of training experience
on process quality of home care.

Results: Among 863 (74.91%) medical staff who provided the services, 536 (62.11%) had training experience.
The overall score of process quality was 79.00 (63.00, 92.00). Propensity score matching analysis matched
312 pairs of medical staff. After matching, age, working hours, professional title and other variables were
balanced and comparable. In the training group, the quality of process preparation(Z=-9.650,95%CI:0.00
           0-0.005,P<0.001), assessment (Z=-9.260,95%CI: 0.000-0.005,P<0.001), intervention and evaluation (Z=-11.082,
           95%CI: 0.000-0.005,P<0.001) were significantly increased.

Conclusion: Medical staff were under-trained in home care services and that the quality of the service
                                                                                                                      Poster Presentation Abstracts
process needed to be improved, which could be done by increasing opportunities for training experience.
