The Results of Using of Innovative Equipment of Life-saving Emergency Boxes in
Public Health Facilities Area Wangwiset District, Trang Province, Thailand

Background: Emergency is an unforeseen occurrence, then helping unconscious patient was the
shortest time-consuming step be important to saving lives as previously time-consuming process
of picking up individual layers, there has been innovative approach the tool boxes that becomes life
saving emergency boxes especial to primary care unit.

Objective: 1. To test the savings in resuscitation procedures between using the innovative equipment
of the resuscitation emergency box and conventional methods.
2. To study satisfaction with the emergency life-saving box innovation.

Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental research study. The sample group are 7 public health provider
teams 7 health care centers numbering assessment make sure 7 teams, then we tested perform innovative
by compair observation record time of live- saving CPR step and implemented from October - November
2022 . The measurement outcomes to health provider used innovative equipment of life-saving emergency
boxes applied to assess the data collection record timing and cases types to compare between
equipment of life- saving emergency boxes with past model analysis statistic by t-test and the tool of
satisfaction assessment by questionnaire (IOS: 0.532)

Results: The result of testing the savings in resuscitation procedures between using the innovative
equipment and conventional methods are compare per time averaged 126 ± 0.49 and 95 ± 0.28,
which were significantly different (P<0.001) and satisfaction assessment is level good average of 3.94
(SD = 0.23)

Conclusion: The innovation has been decrease time than standard time of life saving CPR step
implementation and devices placed nearby and different people may wasting the time important
variable in saving lives during transfer to second care unit or hospital.

the satisfaction of innovation equipment had satisfied in order to save lives in a timely manner to
quality standards are control.
