Welcome Message from the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University
On behalf of the Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University, I am delighted
to welcome each and every one of you to Global Health Recalibration:
Strengthening Outcomes, Education, Clinical Practice, and Research
2024. Indeed, this impressive event would not be possible without the
commitment and cooperation of our co-host partners, and I would like to
convey my heartfelt appreciation for all of their efforts.
It is my sincere belief that a significant impact of our attendance at this
event will be our ability to collectively understand and harness the lessons
learned from recent global health challenges, using these lessons to
advance the field of nursing and improve healthcare outcomes worldwide.
At this international conference, we are pleased to offer a wide range
of topics across our keynote addresses, symposia, oral and poster
presentations, which are sure to provide some engaging content for
everyone. Moreover, I have no doubt that the success of this conference
will equally depend on your interactions and contributions, as well as the
partnerships and collaboration which will result from these.
As you enjoy the hospitality and splendor of Thailand’s Lan Na capital,
I wish you a stimulating and enriching experience during your stay here in
Chiang Mai. I have no doubt that the relationships initiated here and the
aggregated knowledge gained will go a long way towards enhancing and
uplifting the practice of nursing across the globe, as we train and prepare
the next generation to manage the challenges lying in front of us.
