Greetings from Conference Co-Hosts
University of Illinois Chicago College of Nursing
On behalf of the College of Nursing at the University of Illinois Chicago, it is
my distinct pleasure to extend greetings to all attendees of the 2024 Global
Health Recalibration conference. This gathering, hosted by the esteemed
Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University, promises to be enriching,
uniting a diverse group of academics, practitioners, researchers, and
students from across the globe.
In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, and as demonstrated by
the Covid-19 pandemic, the need to recalibrate our approaches to global
health has never been more pressing. This conference provides a vital
platform for sharing experiences, exploring innovative solutions, and
fostering collaborative efforts. The themes of this event—strengthening
outcomes, enhancing education, advancing clinical practice, and fostering
research—are not only timely but essential to our collective mission of
improving health worldwide.
I am confident that the insights and knowledge shared over these days will
inspire new strategies and partnerships, ultimately leading to improved
health outcomes and advancements in our field. The exchange of ideas
from diverse perspectives will undoubtedly contribute to the betterment of
global health practices and education.
