The Relationship between Health Behaviors and Quality of Life among Bedridden
           Older Adults in Kelang-Nakhon Municipality, Lampang Province

           Background: Older adults with bedridden stage had difficulty of self-care or maintaining their health
           behaviors that may impact their quality of life.


           Objective: To examine the relationship between health behaviors and quality of life among bedridden
           older adults in Kelang-Nakhon Municipality, Lampang Province.


           Methods: This cross-sectional study recruited 277 participants who were bedridden aged over 60
           years, lived in Kelang-Nakhon Municipality, Lampang Province. The data were collected between
           March - April 2024, and multi-stage random sampling methods were applied. The research
           instrument consists of two parts: 1) Health Behavior Assessment and 2) Quality of Life. Descriptive
           statistics and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for data analysis.


           Results: The results showed that the sample had health behaviors at a moderate level, with the
           aspect at a high level of being self-care when sick (mean=3.82, SD=0.75), while the aspect at a
           moderate level was exercise physical (mean=2.75, SD=1.33), interpersonal relationships (mean=3.14,
           SD=1.01), spiritual development (mean=2.92, SD=0.84), stress management (mean=3.02, SD= 0.94)
           have a relatively good quality of life. The relationship between health behaviors and quality of life was
           0.816 (p≤.05).


           Conclusion: Bedridden older adults had health behaviors at a moderate level and the quality of life
           at a tively good level.
