Background: Most elderly individuals experience physical deterioration, including a decline in their
ability to swallow food, which can lead to choking. This condition, characterized by the inability to
swallow food, water, or medication, poses significant health risks for the elderly population.

Objective: This quasi-experimental research aimed to develop and study the effectiveness of the
moving face and swallow program in older adults. The program of G* power were used to recruit
50 participants: 25 of control group and 25 of the experimental group using multi-stage random
           sampling.

Methods: Instrumental included the swallowing screening assessment from EAT-10, Line application,
and Facebook developed as a program of the moving face and swallow. Statistics used in data
analysis include statistics used to compare means (Independent t-test & Dependent t-test) and
           thematic analysis.

Results: The study’s findings indicated that the average score on the EAT-10 (mean = 12.00, S.D. = 9.57)
for the experimental group, which received the moving face and swallow program, was lower than it was
           before (mean = 2.08, S.D. = 4.33) with a p-value of less than 0.05. Furthermore, a comparison between the
           experimental group (mean = 2.08, S.D. = 4.32) and the control group (mean = 1.52, S.D. = 2.04) also revealed
a statistically significant difference with a p-value of less than 0.05.

Conclusion: Three themes that emerged from thematic analysis revealed that this innovation is easy
to use, improves swallowing, and is perceived as complicated. The moving face and swallow program
is designed to help older individuals with swallowing difficulties maintain better nutrition and quality
           of life.

Keywords: development of a swallowing management, elderly people with swallowing problems
