Keynote Sessions
In my address, we will explore how the nursing profession can realize its potential as leaders and full
partners with physicians and other health professionals. We will identify key levers of change that
include embracing leadership roles, engaging in collaborative efforts, and leveraging educational
advancements to prepare nurses to meet rising global health challenges. We will explore innovative
strategies led by the nursing profession aimed at ensuring all children, youth, and families receive
appropriate health care.
Conclusively, this address will underscore the pressing need for a fundamental shift in clinical
practice. We will accentuate that nurses, as partners with other health professionals, are poised to
bridge coverage and access gaps and coordinate care for diverse patient populations. By embracing
reconceptualized roles, nurses will be pivotal in realizing a transformed healthcare system, one
that delivers safer, high-quality care that is as economically efficient as it is compassionate and
contextually relevant for our children and future generations.
